Is recovery more important than exercise itself?!

Yes! Well, sort of…

The answer is actually both yes and no.

What?!

It’s true.

Recovery and exercise are two sides of the same coin.

Both are necessary to live a long, healthy, and robust life.

Together, they form a virtuous circle.

If you don’t exercise, you aren’t challenging your body enough to need recovery. Your body is an amazing machine, and it needs to be pushed both in terms of strength and cardiovascular training. That’s how growth happens.

If you don't recover from exercise, you (eventually) won’t be able to exercise anymore…or do much else for that matter. Let’s be honest, lifting weights and getting your heart rate up is taxing on the body. It’s good stress, but it is still stressful. Taking the time and putting in the work to recover will allow you to keep exercising (and do the other things you love) for years to come.

And there are many forms of recovery. You just have to pick one that you like: Stretching, yoga, sauna, walking, mobility training, etc.

At Revity3, we make sure your body gets what it needs. Strength training, cardio training, balance training, and recovery.

The best part: We set everything up for you. You don’t need to think, just show up.
