Sympathetic resonance
Sympathetic what?!?
You read that right: sympathetic resonance. It is a musical term. It occurs when an object begins to vibrate due to the sound waves (vibrations) of another object without making direct contact.
For example: If you pluck a guitar string, another, nearby string will also start to vibrate.
Every object vibrates at its own natural frequency. Objects in close proximity will begin to vibrate similarly.
If you believe this science, let’s take it one step further
If objects vibrate, so do we, as humans.
We all have our own frequency.
Why should you care about any of this?
Think about it: Objects in proximity start to vibrate similarly. It is a very small next step to this: People in proximity start to act similarly.
Perhaps you’ve heard this before: you are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.
Strictly true or not, the statement certainly has validity on some level.
If the people around you work out, you probably do too.
If the people around you eat well, you probably do too.
If the people around you have positive mindsets, you probably do too.
The opposite holds true.
If the people around you binge watch Netflix, you probably do too.
If the people around you order food out every night, you probably do too.
If the people around you drink every night, you probably do too.
This is why it is so important to consciously surround yourself with people who are (or can be) positive influences in your life.
This is what makes Revity3 so special.
We are a community of people trying to make ourselves healthier, both physically and mentally.
We are a community of people who lift each other up and encourage each other.
We are not competitive, we do not gossip, and we have no cliques.
We understand each other, and we understand YOU.
We are so glad you are part of our community…our frequency.
