Reat estate photos

Have you ever bought or rented a house or apartment?

If you have, you probably looked at photos of the location before you went to see it in person.

We all inherently know that the photos are professionally taken and staged, so we take them with a grain of salt.

And I’m sure we’ve all seen photos that look great, but then when you get there you have to wonder if you’re in the right place! Woof!

They may resemble reality, but they certainly aren’t reality.

The same thing goes for social media.

How often does the average person take a single picture and then post that one picture?

How about never!

The average person, myself included, probably takes three or four pictures and then chooses the best one.

The social-media savvy person, if I had to venture a guess, is probably taking closer to 20. (A quick Google search reveals that influencers are shooting fifty or more!)

So, before you compare yourself to that person you see, your house to the one you see, your car to the one you see, or your vacation to the vacation you see, think about how hard and how intentional the person is being with what they are presenting.

It’s real, but it isn’t reality.
