I gained 5 lbs!

Let’s say that you go on vacation for a week to…oh I don’t know…let’s say Tampa.

Let’s say that your main source of exercise was lifting margaritas and nachos.

Let’s say that you did, in fact, gain those aforementioned five pounds.

OK, I actually gained those five pounds.

But it’s OK!

Why?

Homeostasis!

Your body finds a weight that it is comfortable with, and it wants to stay there.

You can gain five pounds on vacation and lose it fairly quickly…

but the reverse is also true.

You can lose five pounds quickly by not eating or doing a “cleanse,” but you are going to gain it right back. We’ve all been there!

This is why it is important to make lifestyle changes that last. Those small changes lead to big results. (I’ll prove it next week. 😉)

Getting to the gym at least four times per week.

Helping your body to recover by stretching.

Eating the right foods in the right amounts.

Not sexy sounding? Perhaps.

Effective? Heck yeah!

And these are the things we can teach you (and hold you accountable for) at Revity3.

See you on the mat!
