Having trouble getting started?
Starting a new healthy habit can seem impossible.
You know you should drink more water.
You know you should eat more fiber.
You know you should exercise for 30 minutes a day at least three times a week.
Why can’t you get those things done?
Because building new habits can be a challenge.
If it was easy, we’d all be well hydrated, regular, and fit as a fiddle!
There is a way to get started though: Make these tasks easier.
It sounds too simple to work, but it does.
The key is removing any obstacle, no matter how small.
For example, sometimes something as simple as leaving your water in the refrigerator can be an obstacle to you drinking more. Or not having veggies in the house. Or not having a good fitness studio to go to.
When I want to encourage myself to drink more water, I leave a glass sitting out right in front of me. Can’t miss it!
When I want to increase my fiber intake, I’ll keep frozen spinach in the freezer so I can throw it in my smoothie.
If I want to exercise more, I need a gym where the workouts are quick and effective, the people are friendly, and the coaches actually care if I show up (and call me out if I don’t!).
Getting healthier isn’t about making massive changes, willpower, or cleanses. It’s about making good choices easier!
At Revity3, we can show you how!
